Okay, you know what to do. Just no copyrighted characters, I want to run one of these on my podcast. For copyrighted characters, go to Swarm Matchups. This story can be used to showcase new characters, or just take two existing ones from another collaborative or another original work of fiction and make them fight (most probably to the death). The overlying story for this is that The Swarm collects heroes or great fighters from throughout space and time and the multiverse and makes them fight.
Part One: BC: Before Conflict
Chapter 1: The Swarm
We are here, and we have always been. We were there when your universe exploded into existence. We were there when the last one ended. We are eternal. We are Swarm.
Few not of us know we exist. But all that do worship us. We are Swarm.
We helped your fledgling world grow into existence. We know of of the Other helpers of Other universes. We have conquered most. We are everywhere. We are Swarm.
Each universe we have been in has had different races with different heroes. We find the best to assimilate. We are Swarm.
Chapter 2: Spy For The Swarm
A lone figure stood on the bridge of SwarmShip 3857623A. He had been brought there by two Swarm soldiers, who had exited the room soon after, the organic membrane of the door sealing behind them.
"Help us" the ship said. "Help us and we'll help you"
The future spy looked up, shaking slightly "And you promise you'll leave my family alone?"
"Of course, Of course" the ship said. "Your family will come to no harm! Just bring us the soul of the Myan god. And here"
The spy felt something materialize in his pocket. "Use this to report."
The spy knew that he had to do this job or the Swarm would kill his family and him nonetheless.
So what do you want me to do.
Find any likely candidates for our army to defeat the Titan lord Azumeus. We shall call you Kukri for now since you own name is probably no better. Our creator shall fall.
We shall shoot you down to the planet in a escape pod. Leave no witnesses. Now get out of my face scum.
Chapter 3: Search for Heroes
After the spy had been strapped into the escape pod he was instantly released into the massive planet below to infiltrate Ghastrohedron, the home planet of Azumeus and the Swarm.
Upon landing the spy instantly ditched the escape pod which stunk of death and began his search for these so called heroes.
Ghastrohedron was not what the spy had expected the planet to look like. It was a vast wasteland with snowcapped mountains in the far distance. He looked around looking for a vantage point where he could scout the planet looking for his first signs of life. Seeing nothing better then the snowcapped mountains in the distance.
He gauged that he could reach the mountains in a day or two if he pushed himself. The swarm had given him a meager amount of rations to survive on this planet along with a first aid kit, a canteen of brandy, a survival knife, some warm clothes, a blanket, a P90 submachine gun in case he encountered any of Azumeus' minions, and a M24 sniper rifle to deal with the big man himself. If he is a man he thought to himself.
He decided that he wasn't making any progress by sitting on his butt in this barren wasteland so he set out for the snowcapped peaks.
Chapter 4: The Zakweegaz
The following day the spy had reached the towering mountain range with the disappointing thought of climbing these treacherous peaks. The windswept wasteland was like paradise compared to the peaks. He decided that he should travel a little bit longer before calling it a night. As he acsended the hillside he noticed a rise of smoke over the next peak. He was low on food so he decided to risk meeting these creatures then dieing of starvation.
He reached the village with eagerness with thoughts of food on his mind but he knew he couldnt approach the village at night so he set up camp on top of the ridge.
The next morning he woke up to the smell of some incense. He looked around to see that he was in some kind of hut with weird hunched over creatures sleeping. They had found him. He quickly thought that he might be able to fight his way out but he quickly realized that his supplies were on the other side of the room and he was chained to a post.

PLEEEASE WHEN HE GETS TO CIVILIZATION, DON'T TELL US WHAT NAME HE ASSUMES (he will assume one, right? 'Cause if he doesn't, we'll have to take this name out of the story and change his final name.) It will be fun to keep trying to guess who the spy is, with the authors not telling anyone the suspect they are putting up, so it maintains an air of mystery. Thx!---Oy
